Fanon

Okay, thanks for leading me to the fanon wiki. Kind of helps in a way. I just wanted to bring up that the fanbase of LOC is continuing to be great, and I informed of my contribution, but I suppose this particualr wiki is for elements of the chronology rather than the franchise and fandom. But still good wiki, as I am a top fan of LOC.

IP clarification

Assuming that you're referring to pages like Crocodile Tribe (IP), the "IP" there is a bit complicated, but I can explain.
Having something in parentheses after the page name indicates that the page is a fan version of a canon page (or, alternatively, that the fan page has a page name that many users want), and that that something is the name of the user responsible for creating the fan thing.
As a hypothetical example, if you made a page for the version of Mottrot in your universe, you might call it "Mottrot (UmbreonzRule101)" or "Mottrot (insert preferred shortening of your handle)".
For another, actually existing example, we have the page Season 4 (Picklehazard1). This is because multiple users have at various times made Season 4 pages, so rather than denying all but one the ability to make a Season 4 page or making it seem that one is more "real" than the others, I use this denomination to make it clear that they're all equal and to clarify whose is whose.
Now, back to your question: The reason why "IP" is seen on the pages that I think you're talking about instead of a user name is that these pages were created by IP editors, whose numbers are too long and easily discarded to make sense placing in the parentheses.

Adaptions

Well, it seems you've already figured out what an Adaption is, but let me clarify what I think it based on what's been done by you and MammothSupremacy55 (who's User:CabinBoi24, by the way).
It seems that an Adaptation is when someone wants to use the bulk of an existing fan page in their own universe, just with a few tweaks, so rather than creating a whole new fan page, they stick a section at the bottom explaining the modifications in their own universe, implying that everything else on the page is canon for them except where mentioned above. So, for example, MammothSupremacy's Adaptation on your Hyena Tribe page is saying "I'm using most of this page in my canon, just saying that in my canon, the Hyenas are allied with the Wolves, which I understand is not in your canon, just mine".
Does that make sense?

You're in luck, as the Fan Content Policy backs you up here. Not editing other users' fan articles is intended to be the status quo, with that rule only broken by copyediting and similar edits or if the owner allows it. Given that you're not allowing it for these Fan Seasons articles, and especially given that Fan Seasons have never to date been targets for collaborative editing, I don't think that there's anything out of the ordinary that needs to be done. On the off chance that someone does edit one of your Fan Season articles, you or I can then revert them and ask them to stop editing those articles. Wikikinetic (talk) 15:58, January 7, 2020 (UTC)

It's just like a page name, but for music or videos. Just as you need to name your pages things (like, say, Dolphin Tribe), your files also need to have names (going with my previous example, you might name a music file something like Dolphin Tribe Theme Music). Music problems

They don't work here because, unfortunately, they don't work anywhere on Fandom. If we're lucky, when the UCP comes along, mp3 uploading might be added, but until and unless that occurs, mp3 uploading won't work here, and there's unfortunately nothing I can do about that. Category: Pirate Tribes

It is one. It's just blank, as I thought that having no text was better than having the placeholder "Category Page" text. It wouldn't render on mobile either way until you add it to a page. (For example, if you type [[Category:Pirate Tribes]] at the end of the Dolphin Tribe page, thus adding that page to the category, then the category will render as you might expect.) I understand that these things can be very annoying and seem like they're trying to push you beyond where you want to go. Just remember, there's no obligation to get any achievement, even if it wants you to get it. Just do what you want to do, don't do what you don't want to do, and any achievements that you happen to get along the way are a side bonus.

Neatly ordered pictures

Glad you asked! This is a very valuable tool.
The process takes just three steps:
  1. At the beginning of your group of pictures, write <gallery>.
  2. Add your images, one per line, with just the name of the image, then a pipe, then a caption (e.g. image|caption ).
  3. After your group of images, write </gallery>.
That's it!

Editing fan Seasons

I have this problem all the time, so I can empathize here.
Usually, the way I edit from mobile is by appending ?action=edit to the end of the URL of the page that I want to edit (replacing any other text beginning with ?). However, for simplicity's sake (and also as examples), I'm going to give you editing links to your fan Season pages that should work from mobile:

Phoenix

Hey, I think I can help, quoting Fluminox from the end of A Spark of Hope: "This power (The Great Illumination), it demands the eight fire wing harnesses, which are concealed in the very ruins of our ancient phoenix cities." As we know, the eight fire wings are speard all around the land Chima (The spiral mountain, the crocodile swamp, the grand archway and ect.), and that means where there were fire wings- there were the cities. Duplicate Page

No. The proper protocol for duplicate pages is to redirect them into the pages they are identical to, which I have now done.
Also, please stop coming to me with these pointless and time-consuming administrative requests. You're wasting my time and not really helping the wiki. (And no, I won't make you an admin so you can do this yourself because you're not really helping the wiki.) If you keep up this sort of behavior, I'm going to have to ban you because you're causing more trouble than you're being a help.

About Frost Formling

Hello, Wikikinetic! I am LuigiMaster41, and I am a user on many wikis! I've just heard word you blocked a user, Frost Formling, and I would like to talk to you about it.

Looking carefully into his contributions, yes, he has made mistakes, however, all of us will make mistakes. You can't expect a user to be perfect when joining, but none of us are perfect. Anyways, you gave him warnings about his mistakes, and you have given him chances. Then you decided to block him. Now, that is reasonable, but here me out on this.

If a user makes mistakes, which is very likely to happen, you can give them reminders, warnings, and if they continue, you can give them a block. However, Frost Formling wasn't blocked at all, and his first block (which you made) was infinite. This is highly unacceptable. You can't just block a user infinitely like that (unless of course if they vandalise, etc.) But that was nothing worthy of a infinite block. At the very least, why not a week block? But no, you choose to make the block infinite. That's not admin-like.

Edit: Forgot to add this, but apparently you and Frost got into a argument on Discord, which led to you warning him? I don't know want happened, but just because a dispute will happen, doesn't mean you get to warn or block him to your likings.

If you want to move this conversation to Community Central, I'm fine with that.

And before you ask, NO, I am not a sock of Frost Formling, just a good friend of his on the Ninjago Wiki.

Anyways, that is my message, and I hope we can get something resolved.

Hello, and thank you for stopping by. I think there's been a grievous miscommunication here, so let me see if I can set things straight.
When Frost Formling first reached out to me on Discord, he explained what he was planning to do on this wiki. This included edit farming to trick another local admin, ToaMatau2004, into giving Frost Formling admin status (an admin who he claimed was involved in his plan pertaining to another wiki, but who clearly had not edited on said wiki in years), as well as implementing changes that would revert community consensus and cause the community to deteriorate. When I resisted these changes, he attempted first to bribe me and then to blackmail me into doing what he wanted. If this sounds crazy, please take a look at these screenshots I took, spanning our entire PM conversation: (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14)
After Frost Formling's bribing and blackmailing, as you can probably tell from the screenshots, I banned him from the Discord server, as he seemed to be only there to make these unpopular changes. He then proceeded to minorly edit the wiki, but eventually this turned into edit farming as he had described performing in DMs (see screenshot File:FF9.png). I warned him that continuing this behavior would lead to repercussions (see #Apology), leading him to stop doing exactly that...but not to stop carrying out his plan. See below.
Beyond that warning, Frost Formling—after a brief hiatus—began asking me to do one small thing after another on the wiki where the things were difficult to do, had very little actual value, and were things that he could have done himself. As a result, these constant requests mostly just served to inflate his edit count and annoy me. (See the few discussions above this one for details.) Given that, I told him to stop lodging such requests or, given his bad history (as stated earlier in this post), I would ban him. This was intended to make him realize that he should be more constructive by doing something other than his previous explained pattern of behavior; however, he responded by making another such request, so, since I do not give out empty threats, I was forced to ban him. As to why I banned him indefinitely, see below.
In conclusion, I did not merely ban Frost Formling indefinitely over a disagreement on Discord or over an inability to understand that people make mistakes; rather, I banned him over a long pattern of clearly enunciated behavior harmful to the community where, if I had allowed it to continue at all—even after the expiration of a temporary block—it would have had clearly enunciated bad results for the community.

Something about a Formling

Hey Wikikinetic. I was recently contacted by the user who uses the Frost Formling username. They tried to talk me into reducing or removing their ban on this wiki. Let's just say i was growing unsure of it... especially after looking into it and reading your side of the story, plus... well, they really came off as not being in the right when they make it sound like they only contacted me, because i am a high ranking user on this wiki who was not aware of these events in order to do something about a ban they believe they didn't deserve.
