Tigers are an ancient race of humanoid pantherinae native to the Wyldness. One notable group was protected by the Phoenixes and were granted immortality while their protection lasts.[1] Another group resided in the Jagged Divide during the reign of the Forbidden Five.
The only member named in the TV series, Tormak, was released in set form in June 2014. Two other Tigers, Trakkar and Tazar, were released in 2015.
Every known Tiger has the letters R and A on their name.
This includes Ras and Zarkar from Ninjago: Dragons Rising.
It was revealed in Ninjago: Dragons Rising that there was a tribe of Tigers below Chima in the Wyldness, although those tigers were different from the ones in The Legends of Chima. Instead of having orange fur with black stripes, their fur is orange with stripes of different colors (such as pink or white). It is unknown if there is any connection between those two tribes as except for few members who served the Phoenix Tribe, there is no information about the tribe in The Legends of Chima.
During season 3, the Tigers was a member of the tribes allied with the Phoenix (or "Fire Tribes"), and its members had the symbol shown left on their vehicles and clothes.
