The Lion Elders are old members of the Lion Tribe who collect orbs of CHI from the Sacred Pool, and are present at Speedorz tournaments and other important ceremonies and events such as The Age of Becoming.
All Lion Elders wear traditional headband and long blue robes with a crest of the Lion Tribe, have grey hair and a beard. They are never seen to wield weapons in the TV series.
