The Black Cloud was a mysterious floating mass that surrounded Mt. Cavora during the episode "The Black Cloud". Laval and Eris investigated the black cloud after many attempts to drive it away. The Black Cloud was later revealed to be the Bat Tribe who are one of the Crawlers from the Outlands. This "cloud" was responsible for depleting Mt. Cavora of its CHI production, as the bats' intention was to steal as much CHI as possible. The Black Cloud was also known for fighting back, as seen in "Eris Vs Black Cloud - Rematch", due to it being the actual Bat Tribe.
Origin[]
The Black Cloud is a formation of the Bat Tribe, to deplete Chima of its CHI and take it for themselves and the other Crawlers. This takes place while Cragger goes on a quest to confront ShadoWind. The Ravens also try selling the Black Cloud in a jar, however, this backfires on them.
Abilities[]
When the Bat Tribe is in the Black Cloud formation, they can cripple Mt. Cavora's waterfalls from producing CHI. Ewald explains in "Eris Vs Black Cloud - Rematch" that a loss of CHI can cause Chima to wither and die within 2 full moons.
The "cloud" was driven away by warriors shooting at it, however, the impact of Mt. Cavora drying up remained until be fixed in a later episode.
