Alonz is a desert-dwelling mouse.
Biography[]
Alonz is a mouse who lives in a vast desert in Chima. He is very knowledgable of his territory, and doesn't like the "big guys" of Chima who are always underestimating him and his fellow mice.
In the story "Small Packages", Laval is forced to enter the desert to escape Crocs. He almost sits on Alonz, who is furious at Laval at first for trespassing in his territory. After Laval explains his dilemna to the mouse, he shows Laval a shady outcropping of rocks.
Soon, the Crocs find them and a battle is about to ensue, but the clever Alonz starts teasing the Crocs. They chase him, believing they can easily defeat him, but Alonz knows where there is soft sand in the desert and the Crocs get trapped up to their necks in sand.
Laval offers an alliance with the mice and tells Alonz to come to the Lion Temple and meet his father. Alonz agrees to come if there will be cheese.
